I just moved to Seattle and I like crafts and sewing. I usually bought remnants from fabric stores for $1-$3/yard for simple cotton fabrics. Here I was in Joanne and Pacific fabrics - they sell them as fat quarters (a quarter of a yard) for $1.99. Where can I find cheap remnants in Seattle area?

Thanks.

Did you get to Pacific Fabric's outlet store?
Pacific Fabrics & Crafts - Store Locations - Outlet on 4th (http://www.pacificfabrics.com/StoreLocations/outlet.htm - broken link)

Try Quiltworks in Bellevue, but better yet drive down to Portland and go to
Fabric Depot.

There are a few thrift stores where fabric can be found for a good price. The Goodwill on Jackson is one.
