Hi guys I'm supposed to be moving to an apartment in Kent, Washington to work in Downtown Seattle. I will be taking bus for the entire route. So I have a few questions.

How reliable is the bus system?

What is Kent like?

Where are some good shopping areas in Kent?
Where are some good nightlife scenes in the area?

Can the major shopping areas be accessed by public transit?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

The 150 bus is reliable and runs every 15 minutes or so. Goes from downtown Kent to downtown Seattle in about an hour.

Kent station (bus and train staion)has a shopping center that we frequent, and has free parking. It's nice. The buses are pretty reliable. Kent is closed to Tukwilla, which has a lot of shopping and resturants.
