Best of Luck! We have plans for leaving Ohio in a few years and heading to Seattle. We also look forward to a change of pace (and have a couple of dogs!) and a new adventure.

Enjoy your new adventure!!!

Good luck! I'm relocating to Seattle as well, and wanted to do a cross-country drive. Unfortunately, I punked out; just seems that a trip from Miami to Seattle in winter by myself may not be the best move! I commend you guys for doing the trip and I'm crossing my fingers for great weather all the way!

Thank you! It's easier for us, because there are two of us to drive. I did once drive from Ohio to Alaska by myself, but that was in the summer. Miami to Seattle in the winter, with only one person driving, sounds a little challenging.

We would fly, but with the dogs, it's just not practical. I'd be a mess thinking about them in cargo. YUCK!
