I am finishing my MSW and looking to move from NC to Washington. I was wondering where is the better place to live: Bellevue, federal way, olympia... Any suggestions would be appreciated

I think it depends on what your budget is. Bellevue is the most expensive of those three IMO. Federal Way is an in between point though I have never stopped there and Olympia is a nice sized town on the water with the state capitol there. Do you have a job nailed down or do you know what type of institution you'd like to work for?

Yeah, depending on what your salary is, and where you will work, it all sorta depends. You will have to be more specific.

BTW, IMHO, we have more stunning mountains here ;-)

Mt. Rainier, mt. hood, mt. st. helens, the Cascades, and the Olympic mtns are all here. Quite a beautiful sight to behold on clear summer days like today.

So...you must have a reason why it's Bellevue, Federal Way, or Olympia, right? Is that where particular jobs are, or something?
Federal Way would be my last choice of the three. Kind of a soulless, car centered place with no real downtown.
Bellevue might be a bit too family oriented, or too expensive. But it's a pretty big and growing city.
Olympia is a little wetter than the other two. It's a town I like. But some people find it too rainy, too full of left wing radicals, too many hippies. It's a pretty place.

"Moving from the mountains to the ocean "

The ocean is a few hours from your listed choices.

The OP is probably closer to the ocean where they are now.
