When I see a review noting bed bugs I take it with a grain of salt. Could well be the competition going for the yuk factor. Bed bugs are on the rise throughout the US and can easily infest the (formerly) cleanest of places in short order. (They hitch rides on clothing.) If the complex looks well kept I wouldn't worry about it. If you did find bed bugs I'm not sure it'd be the management's responsibility unless they were coming out of the walls or pipes or something. Assuming not, just vacuum every surface where they can hide, especially the bed of course. They don't chew into the bed. (Can you tell I've had bed bugs?)

I always thought bed bugs were a problem with furnished places. ???

I lived in this area back in the 80's when everything was still spanking new. I guess the buildings in this apartment mecca have aged and unless they have been refurbished, you will get what you pay for.

That's one of the many that were built in response to the increase in hiring at nearby Microsoft, and it may be showing some age now. It's still a peaceful area, and probably a fine place to live if you can't afford a brand new highrise Downtown or near Redmond Town Center. Remember that reviews always come from disgruntled tenants, many of whom were thrown out for late payments just trying to get back at the management.
