Oh I am fully aware of how Texans are irrationally proud of their former country turned state (as they will constantly remind you). You can't walk a few feet without seeing another lone star flag. The world begins and ends in Texas for 95% of the people there. And what's wrong with that??? What other state can you visit where the state flag "outflys" the US flag in a majority of settings?

Actually, we have left our area code...and have traveled extensively...we just realize that people are truly genuine in Texas... It's quite sad actually.
