I've been really itching to view some photos of Seattle and it's skyline, but I can't seem to find any threads that have them. Can someone start an official thread? I've never been to Seattle but I'm really interesting in moving there sooner or later, and I'd like to see some pictures taken from Seattle's finest.

Lol they're not nearly as revealing and updated as pictures taken by actual citizens of Seattle. None of the photos on Google really give me a feel for Seattle, always the same view it seems.

Thanks, great pictures. I'm absolutely in love with the Columbia Center, it fits so well eventhough the architecture seems way ahead of it's time. I definitely want to see more close up pictures of the CC.

I'd also like to see some street level pictures around the downtown and waterfront areas. I heard it's really active and lot's of things to do down there.

Also, pwright1 has posted some amazing pictures in the past of the Seattle area. Unfortunately, this person has since moved to the Los Angeles area and now shares beautiful photos of that area with the L.A. portion of this message board. But if you look in the archives of the Seattle area, you should be able to find some great picture threads that pwright1 started.

Arrow I hope this thread keeps developing and growing

I have recently discovered this thread, and I think I am really going to visit it often.

I was born and raised in Vancouver, but as a child, I had an elderly aunt and uncle who lived very near Gasworks Park. I recall visiting the Lake Union Ship Canal locks, and not only downtown Seattle, but also Lake Washington and Mercer Island area, West Seattle, among others.

Otherwise stated, this thread brings back some pretty fond, strong memories. Also, being from Vancouver, which although smaller and less of an economic powerhouse than Seattle, also has views and vistas of its own.

And of course the two cities are accessible to each other.

Anyone interested in Vancouver cityscape views might want to visit Skyscraperpage Vancouver, and look for the photo threads, if you're interested.
