Without any traffic, you'd be lucky to make it there in 20 minutes, and luckier yet to make it back in 20 minutes as the 405/90 interchange south of Bellevue is almost always a traffic nightmare. And yet you claim you can make this 13.5 mile drive in 10 minutes?
Yep. I did. Several times. Often. If there is no traffic, you can easily do it in 10-15 minutes, since it's pretty much all highway between the 2.

I don't see why I'd have any reason to lie about it.

I don't think he's questioning your honesty - just your perception of the commute time.

13.5 miles in 10 minutes means you're averaging 81 miles per hour ... wanna reconsider your answer?

I drive right through Issaquah Highlands to an office in downtown Bellevue that is 2 blocks from Bellevue Square. 10 minutes is optimistic, but 15-18 minutes would be normal for non-commute hours from Issaquah Highlands to Bellevue Square.

Peak hours would probably add 5-10 minutes going into Bellevue and 10-15 minutes coming back to Issaquah.

V. =)
Coming from Texas, I have never heard of this either!? Since Halloween is coming up soon, I wonder if this will happen in Snoqualmie? And I wonder what the origin of this is - anyone know?

We actually were boo'ed in TX every year we lived there. We were "red-nosed" too. (Rudolph, for Christmas). Who knows where it comes from but my kids are 8 and 11 and my friend that first Boo'ed us said she found it on the internet. My oldest was a baby when she boo'ed us. Boo'ing is not just in the Highlands. I live in the Pine Lake area and we boo too!

No need to wait, start it yourself. Just make up a little ghost picture to hang on 2 neighbors' front doors, with text to explain that they have been boo'd and need to copy this and boo 2 more neighbors. Don't forget some candy! The kids love it.

Kids love it? What about the adults? I love candy! Great idea - I will just start it myself. Thanks!
