After all, I post in this thread and I don't live in Seattle.

(Good luck with your job search and, please, get back here as soon as you can.)
The Seattle forum was the very first place I ever posted on these forums and it generally is my favorite US forum. I'll still be around

Not here!

It's been raining non-stop for what seems like forever; the only variation is in how hard it comes down (quite hard at the moment).

I had a couple of really big boomers about twenty minutes ago, though. Quiet now - except for the sound of the rain.

Sorry. If it's any consolation, it's gone now. But those were a fun three minutes.

And, for what it's worth, I see where White Pass has had a dusting of snow.

Whoa! I'm seeing some brightness, a break in the clouds, in the southern sky!

And, could it be......? Is it possible.......? Do I see a small (very small) patch of blue?

Probably better not to get my hopes up, but it might be a good time to go outside (I've been putting it off all morning).

Whew! Made it without getting wet!

I decided to go ahead and feed the goats outside (hopefully I'm not being over optimistic) and I noticed some of my dogs that wouldn't go outside earlier are happily outside now.

Still no sun but there continues to be a much brighter sky than I've seen in a few days.

Sun's in and out of the clouds here. Makes for a fun betting game.

Goats...I can't imagine. That sounds so cool to this city mouse.
