I just love this type of weather. Cold and sunny. Well, it's not really cold. It starts getting cold in the 20's, is cold in the teens, and very cold below that. Mother Nature has been kind to me since moving up here. Nobody believes me when I tell them the most I've gone without seeing the sun is probably 2 or 3 days.

I'd rather use my lightweight Columbia jacket with Omni-Heat for the warm blanket instead of the clouds. It gives me the best of both worlds; warmth and sun.

I just came in from outside and I have to say how absolutely beautiful it is out there - absolutely stunningly beautiful. Cold, clear and a beautiful orange sunset. Oh, my!

I wasn't able to see what the temperature is because I don't have a back porch light and I can't find my flashlight.......but it is very, very cold.

If I didn't have to worry about the issues related to this kind of weather, I'd really be loving it.

No kidding. Cold and sunny is great, the usual 45, gray and drizzle sucks. 15 (low) and sunny, 0% chance of precip on Friday sounds like a good day to take off work and enjoy the weather. Probably be a great day for a float trip down the river. Should be great views of the stars tonight too if you get away from the city pollution.

I thought November was supposed to be the worst month of the year... So far it has been a magical November.... so much sunlight! I moved here from Florida so I must have brought some of the sunlight with me

I think we only got 60% of the usual rainfall. I hear ya though. This is my first winter and I have yet to see anything even remotely deserving of the gray and dreary rep this place has. However, I'm sure it will come at some point.

I'm trying to figure out why some people would rather use gray clouds to stay warm instead of buying a good jacket and staying warm in clear weather with views of the mountains

I also vote for cold and sunny over cloudy and misty! And I've never lived anywhere else. I love this. CarawayDJ, the winter isn't too awful, it's the spring that just kills me. I'm good until about February, then the dreariness never goes away and it starts to way one down. When it's 45 degrees and drizzling in June I just want to scream.
