Or San Diego. The sun barely came out here today, maybe for an hour. I loved it though.

Why wouldn't you? I went hiking around Snoqualmie Falls while I was pregnant. There's no reason not to if you're an active person.

I just thought it might be kind of difficult, mainly with the toddler. I guess it isn't lol

Kind of depends on the toddler and if they've had a nap :P

I don't go anywhere unless a nap has occurred.

Can't argue with that. A nap can do wonders for sure

It was 10pm-1am and Seattle was 75-80 degrees.

Im sweating much more now than I did earlier today when it was 90-92 degrees! 70 degrees+ is not good nighttime temperatures to sleep without air conditioning.

I usually dont use an angry smiling face on city-data, so that says something.

This is probably one of few days a year where Gentoo prefers weather in San Diego over Seattle weather.

In Phoenix, Arizona it is midnight-1 am and 98 degrees there with lowest temperatures of the day for the next few days at 90 degrees with highs at 110-112.

At least Im getting a tan after 3+ sunny days in a row in Seattle And the 10 day forecast shows Seattle to be sunny for the next 10 days but cooler. After those 10 days, I hope there are some clouds and heavy rain for a few days before going back to more sunshine.

I am deep in South Texas and I sometimes lurk in the Washington forum just to read about the weather. It makes me feel cooler to think about a cool, cloudy, overcast day. It's sunny here--no doubt about that. But 90+ temps and 80%+ humidity from May through October make it impossible to do much outside.

Maybe it's a case of "the grass is always greener," but I'd trade our weather for Seattle's any time. We're stuck here for now because of job and family responsibilities. But maybe someday we'll head for greener (literally) pastures.

You better believe it! The sun hasn't been out here in almost a week and our highs are barely reaching 70. We even had some light mist falling from time to time. Highly unusual for SD in July but I'm not complaining.

I'm loving it right now!

Default Lovin' this thread

Reading these posts in the Seattle forum is making me feel much better about not liking the sun much. Sometimes I feel alone in my disliking of too much sunshine. I love cool or cold rainy days but absolutely hate extreme heat and himidity.

Living and working here in NYC during the summer is so miserable for me and I sure do miss those west coast temperatures. Some of you have definately made me feel better about loving a cool or sometimes temperate climate.

You are definitely not alone. I think I jinxed myself with my above post. An hour after I posted that, the sun came back out and it came out today. I want my clouds back
