Looking for a good OBGYN in Seattle/Bellevue Area (transferring to, live)

I just move to the area and in my 30 weeks of pregnancy already. Can someone recommend a good obgyn in the area?

Overlake OB/Gyn is pretty decent. All of the doctors in this practice are highly regarded. They deliver, of course, at Overlake hospital and are located just down the street from them.

You could also decide where you want to deliver and work backwards to find a doctor.

I recommend Dr. Haines at Overlake OB/Gyn. He delivered my first two, and he's amazing!!

I first went to Dr.Lawler at Overlake Obgyn. But I ended up transferring to UW medical center. His nurse is the reason why I left. She is unfriendly and condescending whenever we spoke. It's a rather unpleasant experience as one can imagine. I hope no one would have to go thru what I have gone thru during pregnancy.

I'm sorry you had that experience. I have the same problem with my endocrinologist: his assistant is just awful.
Go where you're comfortable and you can get your questions answered.

Bellgrove/Overlake is where I go and they are phenomenal. They even extended my prescription for me when I lost a pack of birth control and needed to get another one. They sent me a lovely post card to remind me that my prescription was running out and that I needed to make a new appointment--something my old place never bothered to do.
