I'm looking for some suggestions on quiet places on the East Side to have a sit down dessert at. Probably in a restaurant. Something for a moms night out after a moderately priced dinner, we don't mind splurging on pricier dessert where we can linger and chat. I like the huge variety of desserts and dessert drinks at Cheesecake Factory but the ambiance is too loud for intimate chit chat. I'll take some dinner restaurant suggestions for girl's night, too, if you have any. Thanks in advance!

It's not deathly quiet, but the El Diablo at Tango (Pike & Boren) is in a smallish type restaurant, and is one of the most delicious things you'll ever eat.

At any one of Tom Douglas's establishments, you can get the triple coconut creme pie, which is amazing.

Shoots, I forgot to mention in my OP that I'm looking for East side. I'll go add that part in now.

Now you're talking my language. Vovitto Cafe will serve you well. There's a Melting Pot across the street from Seastar. Chocolate fondue in an intimate setting is a great way to end an eatfest. John Howie Steak has some of the best desserts anywhere, and some of them are tableside w/ a show (cherries jubilee, etc.). Daniel's Broiler has the usual suspect of treats, but is a great environment. If it's an early dinner, there are a number of top flight cupcake places in the area (Pinkabella, Trophy, etc.).

The Melting Pot is exactly what you're looking for!

It's a lovely space, and the whole idea of chocolate fondue is perfect for hanging out, visiting, taking for time. And the fondue...words are not enough. So good. SO good. Trying...I think it's called the Flaming Turtle? It will take everything you've got not to just drink it straight. And the plate of "dippers" you get is super yummy, too.

Thai Ginger in Factoria has a seasonal sweetrice/mango dessert that is pretty awesome. Very quiet, nice atmosphere.
