Hello!

My husband and I are making a house-hunting visit to Seattle in mid-February. We are planning for a move later this spring (we currently reside in Atlanta). In an effort to narrow down our search (and our driving time once we're out there ), I am seeking recommendations on specific neighborhoods in the Bellevue/S.Sammamish/Issaquah area that are:
  • Very Family-Friendly (we have three kids who are 12, 10, and 7)-this is our top priority
  • Great Public Schools
  • Under $600K (preferably low-mid $500K)
  • 4 BD/2+BA
  • Some type of fenced/fencable yard for our (mostly indoor) dog
If you know if any specific neighborhoods that fit this desciption, I'd be most appreciative. My husband will be working primarily in Bellevue but also in downtown on occasion. Thanks in advance for your help.

Given that you're looking in the Eastside... believe me the first 2 wants are already fulfilled. The Eastside has the State's best school district and is very family-oriented.

Issaquah/Sammamish = Look around the Pine Lake area, and also Beaver Lake area. Also around Sahalee Country club/ 228th Ave area.

Bellevue = Look West of Lake Sammamish (neighborhoods like Lake Hills, Kelsey Creek, West Lake Hills, Tam O Shanter, et. c)

Marymoor Park is the "Disneyland" Dog Park. Bellevue has a smaller off-leash dog park, Robinswood Park. And there's another, I think at Beaver Lake?
