Someone should open a restaurant called "Pike's Market" or "Pike's Place." My god they would get a lot of google hits and misdirected tourists.

As for the earthquake comment... that's just sad. If there's an earthquake strong enough to take the thing down, you do realize that the seawall won't be able to stand right? That whole area is going down and that indeed would be bad news for Seattle.

I think it looks great! I've been watching it being built since I moved here in April. Last weekend, they were testing it out and I saw it rotate (slowly and intermittent) for the first time.
