I'm attending Seattle Central CC this fall and I need a place to stay. I have a car so being close to the college isn't all that important to me, but I'd like a nice area where I can find a good studio for $800. Is this possible or will I need to raise the price/ find roommates?

It's possible. Lots of neighborhoods within Seattle itself have 800 dollar studios. Even Capitol Hill. If it were me, I'd try to find a place close enough to Seattle Central so that you wouldn't have to drive, somewhere close to a bus route. Driving to SCCC can be full of traffic and parking's a pain in that area.

+1

Generally in Seattle it's much easier to structure your life in such a way that minimizes driving. Parking is a nightmare on Cap Hill, and bus service is good, so why not take advantage?
