My question is a bit random but it something that bothers me every time I move to a new city and have to ditch large (bulk) things such as clothes hangers, containers, etc. I have had the chance to explore parts of downtown and its immediate surrounding neighborhoods but have not found a place where I can pick up such things (except IKEA).

Between my wife and I, I need about 100 hangers. Nothing special though, the cheap plastic ones will do. Any recommendations for thrift shops, discount stores, etc. where I can find such cheap but crucial essentials?

Dollar Tree has a few branches around Seattle, and I've seen the hangers there for sale..

Craig's List, Freecycle, Goodwill may all be options.

Even walmart sells like 10 or 20 for something like a dollar. I bought a whole bunch there one time. Check out dollar stores, Family Dollar, & Walmart! JMO

Dollartree or Walmart.

Either way it won't cost you more than $1.50 for 10

Hangers are boring to buy but I bought several boxes of these at the Container Store which is across the street from Bellevue Square. They come in several colors and are easy to store in the garage - $19.44 for 72.

There's a complex on Highway 99/Aurora in North Seattle that has a Dollar Tree and a Grocery Outlet in it. You should be able to find them there for next to nothing.
