This place, where my SO lives, is a "luxury place", or so they advertise, but it's a crime ridden hellhole, that lets too many Section 8 folks live there and under 30 kids, that bring 3 or 4 visitors, party until the wee hours of the morning and take up the limited parking, making you, often, having to walk up a steep incline, up to a 1/2 a mile just to get to your door after you park, not too much fun, after 1000p, during the rainy season.

Also, she had her place broken into, she put warning notices, on the section of the complex where she's at, which may have been about 16 apartments max. The management said she "seriously violated her lease" by doing that. There may be something about posting no flyers, in the lease agreement, but to try to pin that on her, when she's trying to help others out, was really despicable.

In addition, her lease is up next month. To "force", their tenants into signing 1 year or 9 month leases, even though they've stayed there a year already, well, they increase the rent by 300 a month for a 1 bedroom or 500 a month for a 2 bedroom, if you go month to month. Most other places are reasonable, and will let you stay at the same rate, or increase it slightly, not by 25-35 percent.

Too many young kids and taking way too many Section 8 people with real aggressive parking enforcement, even though in some cases at night, you make have to park, again, up to 1/2 a mile way, since they 1, don't have enough spaces 2, rent to people who are more likely to have visitors and take up all the parking due to parties and 3, don't force the 1 car per unit rule, make this a horrible place to live. If you wish to do rents that are cheap (ex: 500 for a 1 bedroom) and not have anything fancy, that's one thing, but if you think that your clubhouse and views can justify charging 850 for a 1 bedroom and 1150 for a 2, while you rent to thugs and can't even provide decent parking, that's another.
