Best Dry Snowfall To Seattle

I might say look into North Bend if you want a bit of everything. I'd say it's "close enough" to the Seattle area to have a very good job market within commuting distance, but since it's in the foothills of the Cascades, there should be a bit more snow than you'd see on average in Western Washington. There is also the added benefit of not being stuck on the other side if a winter storm happens to dump a foot on the pass... there'd still be a good chance of being able to make it to work. Surfing is probably a couple hours away as there probably aren't any beaches on the Puget Sound that are appropriate for that, but skiing would be just a hop away.

The problem is that North Bend is really not a place to be that will assure that snow is on the ground in the winter. I've seen North Bend not have snow when a lot of other places in western Washington are experiencing snow even though it is closer to the mountains.
