I am in early twenties single male and recently moved to Redmond for work from Midwest. I am looking for a bachelor pad in a young professionals neighborhood with walking access to bars/restaurants/Gym. I have been told by my colleagues that i have to live in DT Bellevue if i need to socialize and also walk to bars. Please suggest me where i should be looking for apartments. My only preference is my daily commute should not be more than 15 min car drive and live in an apartment setup over town homes.

Any Suggestions/Recommendations would be welcome

Your colleagues are right. If being in walking distance AND bar access are your priorities, then downtown Bellevue is the place for you. You will fit right in.

Another option that's more affordable is Crossroads area of Bellevue, fewer amenities than downtown, but some within walking distance and a 5 minute zip down NE 8th to downtown.
Also, downtown Redmond has built up many new big apartments in a walkable setting, with
some bars and restaurants, and more to come.
