How did bellevue become a city? I was born and raised here and came back a year ago and then bellevue was a city so how did that happen? And wouldn't that be cool is bellevue got a observatory I think that's what it is called like the space needle, cnn tower or stratosphere? Do you guys think that could ever happen?

Seattle4321, after much reflection, here are my thoughts. There is one in Seattle. If one was added to Bellevue, Seattle would stop being Seattle, Bellevue would stop being Bellevue. Chaos would ensue. It would be your fault, I don't want that for you.

Yes, they will clone the Space Needle in Bellevue, connect the two by way of monorail so everyone can travel between the majestic cities in harmony. Holding hands and singing will grant you free passage. There will be no more traffic. There will be no more fighting. Peace and love for everyone.

Seattle4321, please don't let some posters sarcasm get in the way of a good question. Seattle is still the major city in the region, and thus attracts the most tourists. The Space Needle is a huge attraction, and will likely be for decades to come. Bellevue doesn't have the same attraction despite its huge development. When people visit Seattle they want a number of things, a view of both the city and the sound, and downtown Seattle. Plus there is the history of the Space Needle, and the '62 World's Fair. But thanks for posting, and ignore those who just want to make fun. You are better than that.

Yeah, I guess, but I don't demean other posters here unless they are really off base. You don't know who this poster is maybe he or she is a young teen just trying to blend into this type of board. They should be supported, not demeaned. Could you consider this point of view?

CityWok, your BS is something I can demean. Singing for peace and harmony on the monorail? Really?

I see your point. Peace. I wasn't demeaning (would never do that to anyone), just answering his question in a playful way. I think he or she could decipher that.
