I cannot accept the excuse that he just did not see the kid...that's an excuse a 6 year old could be forgiven for.

This guy was simply acting like a selfish 12 year old...He had to get the ball, and he did not give a damn about anyone or anything except his own greed.

If you are in a stadium or theatre or even on a street, and you start running...you take 1 second to look at what is in front of you...that's common sense.

How can anyone possible defend this???...Maybe if they are the same self centered, selfish types - But if you have any sense of being a responsible person, you see it for what it was...pure selfish stupidity.

There is neither truth nor lie, it's all in the beholder's eye.

Just because I can see a different unfolding of events does not mean I'm self-centered or selfish or irresponsible. Maybe if I were like you and made brash generalizations of people and situations I have no context of, I would be, but fortunately for my peace of mind, I'm not.

And this is excuse enough to get his name published, in public, so people can hound him in real life?

1. We're not your personal army.
2. Get a life!
3. I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

So before you make yourself look like an ass even further, I suggest calming down, shut up, and get passionate about something worthwhile, like volunteering or something. And maybe consider an anger management class.

Everyone else: Keep calm and carry on.

So you didnt get the social reaction you seek and thrive on, so you turn to insulting everyone on here who disagrees with you? Speaking of 12 year olds....

Obviously from the results of this thread, the majority of the responses seem to suggest a more tolerant and sensible reaction than you. Thank God. What do you do in your daily life when people disgree with you?

None of us know for sure what the guy saw. So if nothing else, why not be American and assume innocence while giving him the benefit of the doubt. I

When it comes to sports, all men are kids. Sorry if that seems sexist, but seriously. Men act like boys when they go to a sporting event. On and off the field. It's funny!
