It seems that you have failed to keep up with the status of L.A. sports teams, which is odd, since you know that the Angels now call themselves the "Los Angeles" Angels - an abomination if there ever was one.
Lots of outdated info on that list. The Rams are in St. Louis, the Lions now play in Detroit, the Bullets are now the Wizards, and both they and the Capitals play in D.C.

I'm also thinking perhaps we could name a potential team The Steelheads.

Can't name them the Whales because Vancouver's logo is a whale. I would like to see them named the Jets, in honor of the aircraft industry in Seattle. However, that is taken by the now Winnipeg Jets.

Looks like Seattle could end up with an NHL team very soon: Y! SPORTS

No guarantees, but it could happen quite soon.

It looks like Seattle will have to keep waiting for an NHL team. The Phoenix Coyotes are staying in Arizona.

Hello, I normally post on other forums on this board, but came across this.

I just wanted to offer up a prediction, Seattle and Quebec City will be the 31st and 32nd teams in the NHL within the next few years by expansion (if not relocation).

I don't think it has a chance of surviving long term in Seattle. Which is unfortunate as I am hockey fan. I enjoy watching and attending NHL games.
