Roughly 1968ish on Rainier Avenue and Empire Way - anyone remember the name?

Jumbo Chinese and Magic Dragon (fast food) are on Rainier, but I have never heard of Empire Way in Seattle.

In the early 80s, they decided to rename Empire Way to MLK Way. I have no idea of the restaurant, though.

Empire is the street that became Martin Luther King Way.

Ah, before my time, I came here in 1993.

Roughly 1968ish meaning the year, or the address?
A couple of guesses:
Chinese Villa was on Rainier a block or two north of Empire.
Top Spot was on Rainier a little further south, closer to Genesee. And that's the reason Top Pot Donuts has it's name. They purchased the neon sign of the closed Top Spot before they opened, and found the "S" had fallen off.

I recall a Chinese takeout on that corner (across from the current Starbucks) some 20-25 years ago ... owners also ran the oil change place connected to it. You always got a free meal while they changed your oil!! The oil change place got wiped out by the McClellan light rail station. The takeout restaurant is now a Philly Cheesesteak place.

At the intersection of the two streets there's a vietnamese/chinese restaurant called Ben Thanh Restaurant...but that's pretty far from 1968, if that's meant as an address...but still probably the closest chinese restaurant closest to it.

It would have been the year 1968. Thank you for your replies. My aunt believes it was the Chinese Villa.
