Going to LA for three days recently, we parked at the near the airport SeaTac Crest Motel. It was very inexpensive, less than 7 dollars per day including taxes, with a free quick shuttle van to the airport.

I have used Wally Park and Master Park. No complaints. You'll need to check their rates online, but they're in the neighborhood of $10-$12/day. There are plenty of other places, and my feeling is they're all about on par.
You might also be interested in SeaTac's own parking special at this time of year ($99 for 7 days) - more than off-site parking lots, obviously, but very handy if you're travelling for about a week, and esp. if you have late-night arrival or departure times.
I think the deciding factors are convenience in getting to the off-site lots from wherever you live, and whether they are offering any special deals.
