Just as the title states, hypothetically speaking, say you had to relocate out of the seattle/puget sound region and relocate elsewhere in the country or state, where would be a destination to move to if you had to move for say a job or wanted to buy property elsewhere?

I have visited all but the center midwest states and Alaska. There are several places high on the list, such as Princeville, Kauai, and Portland Maine, but my first choice would still be in WA, the Leavenworth area. Second would be outside the US, Chilliwack, BC Canada.

Portland, Oregon would be my first choice if I had to leave.

My second would be the Bay Area, but only if in this hypothetical situation I could afford it.

Also high on my list would be Hawaii (either the Big Island or Oahu), but there are a lot of practical considerations that would make me hesitate. I love the idea though.

Manhattan and Vermont! Technically BC is out because it is another country but Vancouver would be my first choice if we throw Canada in the mix!

Roslyn, Washington, or Bisbee Arizona. Both former mining towns in the mountains full of artists and hippies.

somewhere with more sun and lower cost of living. probably az or florida, maybe houston. the only reason im here is because i can survive here and COL is low, but now its a different story, its slowly pricing me out. i still cant handle the clouds and rain after more than a decade here.
