We got up to 91 here in Sammamish today, anyone beat that on the Eastside? Currently dropped back to 86 at 6pm. Had a nice BBQ out on the deck, nice way to start May.

86º here in the boonies, a lovely day. Definitely feels like summer!
I'm watching jetskis, motorboats and fishing boats on the lake - no swimmers, though: that's still at least two months out.

We hit 89 today. I took advantage of it.. walked 1.5 mi to an exercise class... than rode my bike down the plateau to mail a package (riding down was fun.. riding up?... not so much...).

That's the Spring Tease. Happens every year. Weird it came so late this year, it's usually around late Feb, early March.

We usually do get a spring tease, but i don't believe it has ever been in the mid to upper 80s in February and March.

I really don't mind once in a while as long as it cools off at night and doesn't last long. Now it's just 70, perfect for an evening walk. For me 85 is enough, and 2-3 months is enough of that. Plus, I did some reseeding on the lawn and have to water it 3-4 times a day, hopefully the coming weekend rain takes care of that.
