Hi all, I'm new here. I've been searching the net for some info regarding the Merlin Program offered in Apollo Elem School of ISD. Our 2nd grader (going 3rd next year) has been given a spot in the Merlin Program. Since Apollo Elem is a bit of a drive from where we live right now (current address is near downtown Issaquah), we are seriously considering whether moving closer to Apollo school (in Renton) would be worthwhile.

Does anyone here have anything to share (the good and the bad) about the Merlin Program in Apollo (or perhaps just about Apollo elem school)? Thanks all!

I don't know anyone in Merlin but we are zoned for Apollo and know many families whose kids attend. Everyone is happy there. I was quite taken with the staff when we toured. I haven't heard any complaints at all.
And it's quite nice on this side of Issaquah
