This is sensationalism if I ever saw it and hardly newsworthy, let alone the leading 5:00 story today.

Besides, there isn't a restaurant, hotel, ship, or store on the planet that's never had a rat or two.

Last week I saw a rat inside the Bremerton ferry near the cafeteria. I'm pretty sure that violates some sort of health codes. How's that for a story!?

Especially this time of year. We had to lock the cat door because they were bringing in too many "presents".

About a decade ago, the local dorks and their City Council banned lethal animal traps. Even the Parks Department opposed it, but you can't tell these smug know-it-alls anything. Now the city has an exploding rat population---surprise, surprise.
