I heard that there are some housing arrrangements where there would be 2 or 3 people to each room, and another 2 or 3 people that would stay in the living room. It's more like renting a corner space in the living room. Monthly rent would be extremely rock bottom. Where can I find people who have these types of setups looking for roommates besides craiglists? My budget for rent is $150/mo.

Sounds like flop houses. Time travel back 100 years or so, and you'll find, Bolo99.

True, I was thinking about the concept only at the time. And for over $800 that makes it even more unbelievable.

I had friends with children who did this, and for a tiny subsection of the shared house they were still paying 1500k/month.

Is that 1.5 million per month for one family? Sounds a little expensive.
