Does anyone know whether the crossroads mall has video surveillance to record what happened near the coldstone icecream store? Or is there a way to find it out?

My friend went there yesterday and was almost hit by a car driven by that crazy woman neighbor, the same person from this post //www.city-data.com/forum/seatt...roke-into.html
........near the 4 way stop sign when she was crossing the street from parking lot to the icecream store.

They're not sure whether she's intentional to scare her or just a reckless driver. It's a 4-way stop, and really hard for me to imagine how that car didn't stop from the half price books store but kept accelerating till a very rushed stop.....Quite close. They did tell the police officer but it seems there's not many clues to find out whether she does it intentionally or accidently.

Any possible ways to find out? Will this be regarded as a harassment or hard to define? Thanks

It's definitely harassment. Proving it is going to be difficult. People like the woman you're describing tend to get good at harassing people in a way that allows for plausible deniability. You sort of have to wait until they get too brazen or make a mistake - and be ready to catch it when they do.

Whether you can get the security footage even if it exists is hard to say. The only way you have a right to it is through court order or a law enforcement investigation. You might get lucky and find someone in the security service who is sympathetic to your friend, but they may not be authorized to release it. The footage is collected to protect the mall, not your friend. It would help if you can articulate exactly where and at what time the incident happened. Nobody wants to sort through hours of footage looking for possibly nothing.
