This is a serious question. Are you guys a fan of what's arguably your city's most popular brand?

Ugh! Why didn't I add a poll? If a mod could add a poll, that'd be wonderful.

No. It's terrible! My theory is that they use coffee that's higher in caffeine level, in order to get people addicted to it. But it's a turnoff for some.

No, it's awful. It's all my work offers and there's nowhere else to grab a cup within about a 10 minute walk, so I drink it sometimes, but I don't enjoy it much. So over-roasted, so burnt-tasting.

I actually brought a toothbrush and toothpaste to work specifically because Starbucks leaves a horrible garbage taste in my mouth that lingers an uncannily long time.

I made the mistake of taking my Starbucks cup into a hipster vegan donut shop. I could feel the seething hatred all around me. I think it's like a badge of honor to hate Starbucks here, regardless of whether you've ever tasted their coffee or even drink coffee.

Totally agree. I think Starbucks is fine. I love coffee but I'm not militant about it at all. We have a Nespresso machine we use all the time at home.

Only non-Seattleites think that. Ultimately, it is only more convenient (on every other streetcorner).

Starbux sux. Peet's Coffee in the Bay Area (now owned by Starbux) is much better. You'd think the parent company would take the hint. Nope. And they're not about to allow Peet's to expand into WA, either. Too bad.
