Does anyone know of any apartment complexes (outside of say subletting a place), that are willing to forgo proof of income in lieu of bank statements showing a substantial amount instead? What about month ranges (3, 6, 9, etc..)?

Wife and I are looking for Studio apartments in the Seattle area, and we're moving all the way across the country. We have a flight date set, we're at this point just looking to find a place to live at once we get there, instead of spending money on a hotel.

Any help is appreciated.

I have not been asked for proof of income for any of the recent apartment buildings I've rented in.

Do you have an offer letter? That might help. Rentals are competitive here.

A large bank account mans little, it can be spent very quickly. Better to offer paying several months in advance.

in my experience in competitive markets they would like to see several months sometimes even the full contract paid prior to move in. And or a larger deposit also. Credit is another factor.

When I rented my onebedroom apartment in Northgate Seattle in August they didn't ask for proof of income. All they did was a credit check.
