I just moved to Seattle 3 weeks ago and problem with the current subletting student who failed to communicated with the community office before renting it to us. I have to move by next week and desperately looking for a home.

In Seattle, try to negotiate a monthly rate at Extended Stay suites or vacation rentals (VRBO, etc.). For regular rentals, look at areas where renters are more in demand than supply: Tacoma (near Tacoma Dome Sounder Station), Federal Way, White Center, Lynnwood.
