Not much for police involved shootings but that one seems pretty cut and dried.

The guy was a madman running around town with two pistols... It wouldn't take long or much more for him to start killing people. I read blogs where people were blaming the cops for this situation... Wow!! I'm sure these few people would feel different if their own mother or children were injured or killed by this criminal.

Hats off to the police for protecting the public from individuals on a destructive path. I really don't care how some of the public are so quick to judge the police... If they feel that strongly about policing in a more "let's just talk about it" manner, then they need to become a police officer and show the average cop how this it is done... That's if they survive their first real contact with a harden criminal set on violence.

To be honest, life would really suck if we didn't have the police around... It would be dog eat dog and the weak would suffer the most.

Yes, there are some bad cops out there, but there are bad doctors, mechanics, politicians, lawyers, clerks, etc... "I" truly believe most cops are decent people and become cops to help people, while earning a decent pay check. And I don't see anything wrong with that at all.
