I'm very glad Griffey is in. It's time for Edgar to get in too.

That makes two of us. Pretty much one of the happiest days of my life.

At least he ended his career as a Mariner.

So many memories...easily the biggest Seattle sports icon and quite frankly the biggest baseball star in a generation, the Michael Jordan of baseball and coming from Seattle in an era before social media.

Which happens to be my team. How do you think I came up with my username?

He played a part in keeping the Mariners in Seattle.

If the Seahawks win against the Vikings, this will be a very good sports we for Seattle.

Ken Griffey got a higher percentage of votes to enter the Hall of Fame than any other player, ever. And he had quite a few seasons after he left Seattle where he was injured and not very productive. But those first 10 or so seasons as a Mariner? It was just beautiful to watch. Not just his bat( He hit 56 home runs one season), but his trademark catches in centerfield as well.
