MOD Pizza is very inexpensive.
Skillet Counter makes yummy cornmeal waffles and they put an interesting season blend on their fries.
Plum has a great reputation amongst the vegan community.

East of the Center: Teriyaki Bowl, Premier Meat Pies (Aussie/Brit).

South of the Center: 5-Point Cafe.

West of the Center: Dick's Drive-In, Mecca Cafe, Chutneys (Indian), Tup Tim Thai.

Along Roy Street (block north of Mercer): Bahn Thai, Bamboo Garden (Veggie).

Bambino's Pizza (4th and Cedar) is a few blocks from the EMP, and I'd say is among the top five pizza crusts in the city. Good place. Nice beer selection.

Cheap burgers at Dick's over on Lower Queen Anne. The only local Dick's with an inside eating area.
