Wouldn't shock me to see the Lind and Dae-Ho Lee platoon end, with Dae-Ho assuming the full time duties.

Wow, aren't you optimistic, Ira500. I did not expect these results so early. I think they'll improve but I no longer think they'll vie for the AL West Pennant like I did about a week ago. Very disappointing start.
When this thread was started, the Mariners were 2-6. Now they're 21-13, meaning that over their last 26 games, they're 19-7. Optimistic, moi? I can't imagine they'll keep winning at this rate, but mediocre they're not.

Just a little.

2-6 to 21-13? When was the last time the Mariners were 8 games over .500?

All the fair weather fans are preparing to take off their Seahawks jersey and put on their M's jersey.

The last time the Mariners were 8 games over .500 was August, 2014. The last time they were 8 games over .500 in the month of May was 2003. They won 93 games that year.

Not quite. Does a Mariner jacket given to me by my son count, though? I am a fair-weather Mariner's fan and I feel good saying it, too.

I was at the game on Wednesday. Not many people were there. A lot of people left after Tampa came back and tied it up. Most of the people around us were too busy talking about their kids school or the weather. I brought my cousin who is from Boston and a huge Sox fan. He just couldn't get over at how different the "vibe" was. All in all they have a talented team and if they stay healthy they should make then playoffs. THEN the fans will come.

Yeah they are looking very good so far even if it is May.

It's amazing how good things happen when you actually hit the ball. I was at the game last year when the score was tied in the 9th... runner on 1st... Rangers walked Cano and Cruz to load the bases and of course the next guy couldn't deliver.
