Don't miss "Downtown Banya"; sweat soak, eat and play in Everett, which has a suprisingly large Ukrainian and Russian population. Who could resist borscht in the buff? Russian Cuisine | Restaurant in Everett, WA | The Bistro at Downtown Banya

Oh, dear! I click on the menu photos, and my mouth waters! I'm several days' drive away from Everett/Lynwood, where all that great stuff is. I'm in the SW. We've got nothing, here. Zilch.

I have been house hunting in Snohomish County and seen several Russian-looking places in different spots in South Everett. Sorry I can't be more specific. I would have been near the freeway in South Everett, and then one place I saw was in a more "suburban-y" neighborhood a bit east of the freeway ("silver" something?).

There is a store that has a section for Russian foods and Eastern European foods on South 288th & Military Road - it's called Valley Harvest. I also remember there used to be a nice Eastern European restaurant up on East Hill of Kent years ago, don't remember what it was called though, and don't know if it is still there.

That Capital Hill place, it was a fine restaurant back in the 90's. Are we talking about the same place on the north side of C.H.?

I also like the European Store out northside Aurora.
