I've just moved to Issaquah and have discovered that Super Walmart doesn't seem to exist here. Is there another local store that has groceries and household items that serves this area? Preferably open 24 hrs?
Thanks

Fred Meyer is a regional chain comparable to Wal-Mart. Owned by Kroger, not open 24h but most big grocery stores are.

Costco:

Issaquah Costco Warehouse- Costco

Sam's Club is owned by Walmart, with locations in north Seattle, Renton, and Auburn.

There are also non-membership wholesale-type groceries: Cash&Carry (east Bellevue) and Grocery Outlet (various locations in Seattle).

The closest Super Walmart is in Renton. There are Walmart Neighborhood Markets in Bellevue and Factoria.

Super Walmarts exist, but not in the more affluent areas. The nearest are in Renton, Auburn and in Monroe, not too far if you only go 1-2 times a month. I would avoid Renton though, it's a bit on the "people of Walmart" side.

You have the Fred Meyer right in Issaquah, and it's pretty much one-stop shopping, though a bit higher prices than Walmart, good meat, produce and fish, nome and garden, toys, and some hardware.

Issaquah isn't really a target market for a chain like WalMart, more so since it's home to Costco's corporate headquarters.

I agree that Fred Meyer is really good for one stop shopping, but in case you like a little variance and unpredictability, Grocery Outlet and Big Lots deeply discount everything and are great for bargain hunters.
