Since April 17th we have had 13 days above 80 degrees. Not too mention the 7 days that were in the mid/upper 70's and sunny. That is almost 3 solid weeks of what I call summer weather. I know it's been a weird year weather wise(from what I have heard from friends/neighbors anyway. We just moved here last December.) but most people seem to forget how nice the weather has been for the most part since mid March.

By the way pnwguy2, your description of the "5 seasons" are one of the main reasons we moved here. That sounds like the perfect climate to me. I just hope it actually pans out like that in the years to come. By the way, last night was a treat! Thunder, lightning and "heavy" rain. It was awesome.

Yeah, Seattle doesn't get a huge number of Thunderstorms, but when they do they can be spectacular. Growing up I remember an occasional hailstorm, but rarely damaging. I didn't address snowfall in my last post, but it certainly can happen usually around the edges of that week of sunny, cold weather that the city seems to get every year. I think most of us "mature" Seattle folks would say that the winters were much worse in the 50's and 60's, even 70's than in recent decades, though I only remember 1968 and on.
