Ya well get used to it. No one talks to anyone outside of friend circles. Also we get so many s**t grins and I'm better than you attitudes alot of us just give up and realised it's a barrier. How could anyone wanna deal with these attitudes on a daily you would have to be completely nuts.

I am always amused by these threads. OMG, Seattle is the worse place for dudes! The worse! Back in XYZ, the girls were so much hotter and easier. Sure, they were and that is why you left the hottest, most laid back girlfriend to move here or more likely the case, you were single and complaining about the lack of hot, easy going girls from wherever you came from.

Not to repeat myself, but I have spent a lot of time in places like Boston and NYC, aka college girl and single girl in the city Mecca and I find the same guys making the same complaints. Bet if we head to the south Florida or Los Angles boards, which if you have ever visited there you know there is no shortage of girls, we would find the same complaints.

Look sorrysorta, hard truth time stop reading if you are not interested in hearing it, even your handle is dic***h, your posts even more so, it's no surprise that women (and I bet even guys) avoid you. Online gaming dudes don't count. Why should any girl give you the time of day, especially with your crap attitude?

A lot of geek guys in Seattle, our son is one of them.
IMO, when one is out with friends, how do you approach the opposite sex, not knowing if they are on a date or have a steady? Hence, online hookups are popular because both know they are trolling. However, there is a lack of first chemistry and getting to know you of online dating.

You don't know what someone else's relationship status is when you meet them out an about. My suggestion would be to approach the person you want to speak to, speak to them, and go from there. If you ask them out, ask for a number, etc., leave it up to them to tell you if they're seeing someone. I wouldn't let the potential for the person to be seeing someone prevent you from making an approach.
