Doesn't matter what you look like or say or do. The default ***** face and dead silence will be seen.lol

its ok to generalize, its ok to stereotype, and its ok to assume the worst case scenario as the default scenario anytime a guy talks to you in public, or online, that isn’t a family member or someone you already know ya i get it.

So there's really no point in even trying.
It’s a bad situation we are in, we can’t approach exactly because of this mindset that women have created the worst case scenario is always the one to expect, no matter what.

Try okc and you will see 99% bounce rate after two sentences lol.
Wow no wonder you guys are like 50 and still at it on there. I guess they don't mind sleeping with their dog or cat for the rest of their lives.

Yeah.. Or they are crazy feminist and don't need men, so they turn lesbian so they aren't alone... Or like you said become crazy cat woman, passionate about stereotypical liberal "causes".

So tell her you know she's skeptical potentially aware of worse case scenarios and give her 30 seconds of who you are and why you like HER. Put your contact on a card and hand to it to her with a smile and walk gently away. Make sure you like HER.

If you're trying to just mack on girls I can't help you.

I know a lot of wonderful, quite heterosexual women in Seattle. Maybe you are looking in the wrong places or are uncomfortable with a strong minded, clear woman.

OP: If this situation continues to happen to you perhaps a good look at the common denominator is in order.

I've had pretty good luck with the women here. Can't say that for every place I've lived though.

Things are definitely different here, and I've found the biggest key to success in engaging with women in Seattle--even if it's just casual conversation--is to avoid being so aggressive. Don't be intense or predictable with your approach, and instead try to be clever. Most importantly, be genuine

Go south to Kent or north to Lynwood and see how it works for you there.

Do NOT head east to Bellevue/Kirkland, they'll likely taze you. .
