Time for some fun.

Are you prepared for Halloween and Trick or Treaters? If you don't have your candy yet, you may want to consider the official Washington State favorite.

Airheads?

Nah. If we were having trick or treaters, we'd definitely be handing out something chocolate.

I'd opt for Kit Kats from MT, Butterfingers from ID, Twix from IA or M&Ms in OK or others, before Airheads.
How about you?

Happy Halloween!

100 Grand! (MN) Some of my earliest memories are those getting stuck in my braces. Loved those things! So I always have to get some. Otherwise Reese's peanut butter cups (big ones, not the mini's - apparently all states voted for Reese's), Baby Ruth (didn't place), and some Jolly Ranchers (NV) - because sometimes you need a little something between chocolate stuff.

However since we moved to our condo - we no longer get trick or treaters. Bought candy the first year, but not since. When we lived on Upper Queen Anne though, THAT was a neighborhood for trick or treating. There were absolutely tons of kids - which is fun. I love passing out candy and admiring everyone's costumes and creativity.

Happy Halloween!

Great list Kayla. It seems like the older candies didn't show.

My understanding, which could be wrong, is these were based on actual sales. If nothing else it's interesting to see the differences between states. Candy Corn was the most popular being the top seller in OR, WY, TX, TN and SC. Oreos in WV were unique.

The kiddies are out making the rounds. Some of those kids seem kind of big for afternoon, especially when not accompanying a small child. I only want all to be safe.

Happy Halloween !

This might be the only area in which Oklahoma would ever be at the top of any of my lists. Even so, I bet they don't even give out peanut M&M's.
