I will start a job in downtown Seattle mid-Sep and I am looking for a place within a 30 minute travel by public transportation. Can anyone recommend any apartments that I can rent under $900 a month, utilities included?

For that amount, you're probably talking about a room, micro-apartment, or apodment.

Some of the Zillow listings can be outdated, but they can give you an idea of where to look. Check here for more apartment listings from Craigslist:

maybe stay at a hostel (or airbnb) for a little while if you you need a short term cheap place to stay when u arrive in seattle
