I just heard about this mall called the "supermall" out here near Auburn. I checked out their websight and it looks like there is tons of shopping to be done there. My questions is....Is it worth it to drive down there and shope there? Is it in a good area? Is it really a "Supermall"?

Any help from anyone who has been there would be great!

Thanks!!!!!

To be honest I go out to Auburn sometimes to do a little shopping. I think it is at least worth checking out.

Is it clean? I heard Auburn is not a good area so is it safe?

It's not reallty worth the drive, unless you like: Nordstrom Rack, Gap Outlet, Sam's Club (requires membership, like Costco), Burlington Coat Factory. If you have little kids, there are quite a few name brand kid's clothing outlets. But it has many vacant spaces and many of the little stores are not worth stopping into. I think the mall is pretty dirty. You certainly won't have trouble finding a parking spot or pushing a stroller...there are no crowds.

Auburn as a whole is fine and safe, but gets a bad rap. You'll have no trouble at the mall. On another note, there is not much food if you plan to go to lunch. In the mall there aren't much options (I think the Johnny Rocket's closed). Outside the mall there is a Red Robin (Yum!) and a Taco Del Mar.

Hope this helps. If you like the stores you saw listed online, go. But don't expect the mall to live up to it's name and be "Super."

I think Auburn is a nice place. IMO Supermall isn't worth a special trip, but if you are in the neighborhood then drop by and see what you think of it. Actually, I really like Alderwood Mall, but that is only worth the trip if I am in the area. I should've been more specific

It's not supposed to compare - it's basically an outlet mall. Don't want to scare anyone, but supposedly the movie theater there is haunted by some sort of spirit.

I agree with the others...it is not worth a special trip. I do love the view of Mt. Rainier from the mall and surrounding area though. I go there a lot because of Sam's Club and I've never felt unsafe. I too think Bellevue Square is a much nicer mall.

Funny about the movie theatre supposedly being haunted as the only movie I ever saw there was "An American Haunting."

After looking at the directory, I want to go there just to have a frozen yogurt!

ETA: Just called the number for the yogurt place, doesn't look like it's there anymore. =\

Have you tried Red Mango in Bellevue?

I went Red Mango, I hate it. I like frozen yogurt that tastes like ice cream. And the counter chick, when I first walked in, and asked if their plain flavor was like vanilla, and she said, "No we don't use artificial sweeteners." I pointed out to her that vanilla comes from a plant, but she gave me a vacant stare.

Thank you for the suggestion, though!

V. =)
