I own 5 acres in unincorporated King County near Duvall (the property has a Duvall address). I will be submitting my build plan for a house on the site in the next few weeks.

I have been offered a good sum of money (about 15,000 dollars) for the lumber on my property. The offer came from a lumber company. They would pay me the 15k and take whatever they wanted off my property.

My question is about which permit is best for this:

A) a clearing/grading permit

B) Conversion Option Harvest Plan

Option A would cost around 3,077 for the plan review, $1,231 for a plan resubmittal, and $4,461 for an inspection (Complex level 1, 1-5 acres) according to fee schedule 13 on king county's website

Option B would cost much less, about $1,203 total for the five acres.

I'm not sure about what the limitations on Conversion Option Harvest Plans are or if it's the best way to go.

Is someone more knowledgeable out there?
