Any specific recommendations for good, inexpensive lunch joints in Freemont neighborhood ?

At the PCC Market hot foods section is about all I know.

I also highly encourage you to try the Homegrown cafe.

I second Uneeda and Paseo. Ha! is also a great little place. My friend lives 1 blocks from that area and loves it. Everything you could possibly need is right there.

Sure: Blu C sushi. I can get out of there for twenty five bucks or less, with a little discretion. Bargain for what it is, and fast too. Happy hour, it's even less.

It's Fremont, by the way. If you can't spell it, you probably can't afford to eat there. I wouldn't call a ten-dollar burger inexpensive. Try Wallingford, instead - it's got two-dollar burgers...

I had a good sandwich and okay soup at Homegrown, though afterwards swung by El Turko which looked better.
I've been to Uneeda before and it was good and with beer.
I heard for Caribbean sandwiches, Un Bien in Ballard may now be better than Passeo.
Thanks for FrEmont suggestions.

The Ballroom has excellent giant sized pizza by the slice. They open at 3pm on weekdays though.
