Yes. One of "THOSE" threads.
There was a comment and an interesting discussion in one of the threads here recently which prompted me to want to create a poll and ask how many of you here met your other half in Seattle? (LTR and or marriage)

Were they a "native" Seattleite or "imported" from elsewhere?
How did you meet?

My husband and I met in Seattle. We went to Kell's Irish Pub on our first date in 1995 and were married at the Hotel Sorrento a year later. DH is a Washington native while I grew up in Louisiana/Texas.

I have three colleagues who moved here from out east.

These three guys arrived already married. Wives left 'em. The fellows are still solo.

Modest proposal:

Introduce some fun quaint traditional village customs.

One can see that even fun traditions like this one can have modern origins. Note that most of the cities where this takes place it has only been practiced since the 2000s.

DS, 7 years in Seattle. Nice job, nice home, money in bank, and active.
I think we will visit him more often and stay longer, if he doesn't get some action.
