Hey all!

Would love to hear some input from the Seattle locals! Moving there for a few months for work (travel nursing) and would like to get a better understanding of where to look for housing. 25 years old, with a dog, so nearby parks and play areas would be nice. A good nightlife scene too! Walkable is always a plus. Ive read up a little on neighborhoods like Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, Ballard, etc. would love to hear some insiders on a good spot to be for a few months!

Thanks for your responses!!!

Hi Melba, The most active Seattle nightlife is in the Pike/Pine area of Capitol Hill, Fremont, Ballard, Georgetown, Lower Queen Anne and Belltown (Downtown Seattle). They would all be fun places to live, Ballard might give you the best access to parks, there is even an off-leash park near Golden Gardens Park (Northwest Ballard). Hope the move goes well!

As always, budget dictates a lot. What are you limits? And, it might be difficult to find short-term housing ... others may know more.
